Make MSA more available to YOU: As a representative, I will make sure that MSA events are more visible to the campus. This will include tailoring more events to the needs and desires of the student body. I will encourage and create more opportunities for constituents to voice their opinions on campus wide issues through the use of more online student body surveys and collaborations with student organizations. I will also work to enhance the visibility of MSA on campus and the events we organize. I plan on educating more of the student body on what MSA does, how it works, and what it can do for you.

Foster relations between MSA and the Residence Halls Association: I believe that MSA should work with the Residence Halls Association to connect residents of different Residence Halls with each other. As a resident of a Residence Hall, I see how limited the social life and to their own Halls. I plan on MSA and RHA working together to create more opportunities for members of different Residence Halls to collaborate with each other and foster diverse relationships. I plan on facilitating more inter Residence Hall events, so that residents of ResHalls on Hill get to interact with those who are on Central or North. This will allow underclassmen more opportunities to get involved with organizations with other students and create a diverse social network that will serve as a resource for students. This can be utilized to foster relationships among organizations on campus and will foster a more connected and aware student body.

Increase LGBT Campus Outreach: As a representative, I plan to get the LGBT campus organizations more involved with other student groups on campus and vise versa! I have served as the Community Outreach Coordinator of the LGBT Commission this past year, and hope to use this experience to aid me in reaching to the campus more. I hope to get the Fraternities and Sororities to collaborate more with the LGBT student organizations, and set up a Greek Allies student organization in order to facilitate and strengthen this relationship. I also plan on forging more cooperation and teamwork between the Multicultural and LGBT student organizations to create a more connected and diverse community.
